What was your first experience with 3D printing in the design process?
For some it was a novelty, let’s face it, adding ‘3D’ to anything makes it cooler, how could that not improve the lowly printer.
For some it was a luxury and they needed a real good reason before going down that road.
For others it was a bandwagon to jump on with no idea where it was going or why.
3D printing has the potential to revolutionise product development, but that potential has to be realised. This video tells the story of a company who missed that potential, missed real opportunities, and what they could have done differently…and what you can still do.
